Died tragically leaving family and friends in heartbroken, devastated and in complete shock. How will we cope without you??? What a difference a day makes!!!

Ron, My gorgeous daddy, was born on 20th July 1960, he lived with his mum, Mary, and his 3 siblings. My mum met him when he was 16 and she was 14 and they spent 31 years together, 26 years married. During that time they had 3 children; Myself, Rachel, in 1982, My brother David in 1985 and my Sister Naomi in 1992. When i was born he worked in Ashworth hospital as a psychiatric nurse before realising his interest in computers and opening his own computer business with his lifelong friend Alex in 1997. The company was called Ronal Computers Ltd (Ron-Al get it?) and was based in Southport.

He loved to play snooker, winning many trophies when i was a child, he enjoyed going to weekly quizzes with his friends and colleagues and often won. But most of all he was a very big Liverpool Football Club supporter. He used to have a season ticket and nothing would stop him attending every match until he experienced the trauma of his friend Eric Hankin being tragically lost at Hillsborough where they had gone to watch Liverpool together.

He was very protective of his hometown, often defending scousers. As any of his family, friends, colleagues or even cutomers will tell you he was an honest gentleman with a dry and sarcastic sense of humour, he always made me laugh. He was very kind and caring and would never see my mum or his children go without and would never hear a bad word said about any of us. He was an extremely proud man; proud of his home, his work, his family and their achievements. If he said he'd do something he'd always do it. He was a loving husband and a fantastic father and we all love and miss him very much.
